The year 2024 has been a period of clear growth in our activity, with an increase of 16% compared to the previous year and a turnover of 28.1 million euros, in line with our objectives. In addition, we achieved a positive result, slightly higher than budgeted.
Review of 2024 and outlook for 2025
We would like to thank our entire distribution network, both nationally and internationally, including our subsidiaries, for their confidence in our products.
Export growth and consolidation in the domestic industry
Internationally, we have continued our expansion, increasing our presence in supermarkets in Latin America and Europe, and implementing Computer Vision solutions in a number of food chains, including some of the world’s best known. In addition, 2024 has been a key year in Latin America, where we have equipped a large chain with 28 LS5000 automatic machines.
In 2025, we aim to further strengthen our presence in Europe, with a special focus on France and Italy.
In the national market, 2024 has marked our consolidation as a weighing and labelling partner for the food industry, with a significant growth in installed equipment. This achievement adds to our leadership in the retail channel.
We are committed to boosting sales of our new products, especially in the industrial sector with the 5000 range. This line incorporates C labelling and multi-head modes, offering our customers significant improvements in productivity and non-stop systems.
In the retail sector, we celebrated the culmination of the development of our linerless autocutter printers, the PC scales with computer vision and, especially, the new range of DX scales, with the delivery of the first units. This milestone reinforces our production and distribution capacity, boosted by the implementation of LEAN lines in our facilities in Derio.
In addition, we have launched DIBALhub, a new space on our website, designed especially for distributors and customers. This section centralises all relevant information, guaranteeing quick and efficient access to up-to-date resources.
Commitment to quality
In 2024, we renewed our ISO 9001 and CE certification after successfully passing the relevant audits. We have also maintained the certification of our Derio factory for the manufacture of safe equipment for the North American market, endorsed by the MET quality seal.
Social responsibility
We have actively participated in the promotion of industrial activity in our environment, encouraging STEM studies, attracting talent and bringing it closer to the world of industry.
In 2024, we also collaborated on two high-impact charity initiatives. We made donations to CÁRITAS, on behalf of the entire company, to support those affected by the October drought in Valencia (Spain), and to the GAVI foundation for child vaccination, in collaboration with the La Caixa Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Facing the future
The outlook for 2025 is promising. Both 2025 and 2026 will be key years for our company, with the launch of the multi-year strategic plan 2025-2028, focusing on product and market development.
