As part of its internationalisation strategy in which Mexico is a strategic market, Dibal set up a subsidiary in Mexico City in 2016 to offer a more personalised and quality service to local companies. The objective of the new subsidiary, with the graduate Jonathan Vargas (jvargas@dibal.com) at the helm, is to develop weighing and labelling solutions for industry in Mexico.

Dibal has been offering weighing and labelling solutions to the retail sector for over 30 years, a segment in which it is the leader in the Spanish market and one of the most renowned agents worldwide thanks to its tested and full range of scales. 15 years ago, and as a natural consequence of its activity and market demand, the company started to develop weighing and labelling solutions for industry. Nowadays, the company is characterised for controlling the entire process: from coming up with the idea, design, development, production and sale of hardware and software, as well as for its flexibility and proximity to the client, which enable it to develop customised solutions that are fully adapted to the needs of industry.

The participation of the Dibal Mexico subsidiary in the Expo Carnes fair is one of the actions that will be carried out this year to raise awareness of the extensive range of Dibal equipment and software in the meat industry for functions such as weighing and labelling, control and classification by weight and inspection and control, which can be used in many areas of the production and sales process.

The company is extremely satisfied with the acceptance and interest shown by the Mexican market during the fair and foresees a favourable evolution for the new subsidiary this year.
